Hi! I’m Rachel, and I run the website here at Wisteria. I joined Wisteria in December of 2020, and have loved it here since! The community and the opportunity to showcase others’ art are absolutely wonderful. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music (particularly Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers, and boygenius), playing the piano, reading, writing, binging New Girl, watching silly little 90s romcoms, and baking and decorating cakes. I am graduating from Myers Park High School this June, and I will be attending the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the fall. I am planning to major in Early Childhood Education, and hope to become a Kindergarten teacher. To this end, I work as a tutor and nanny, and I love helping out and working with kids! I love to travel, and the trip I am looking forward to most this year is a trip to Sweden to see one of my best friends. I hope that you all enjoy Wisteria, and I am so excited for you guys to see everything we plan to do in the future!
